Military and Family Life Counselor Program - Masters or doctorate-level licensed counselors provide short term, non-medical counseling services to service members and their families at no-cost (anger management, communication, relationship issues, conflict resolution, parenting, decision making skills, deployment stress, coping skills, homesickness, relocation adjustment, reintegration, separation, sadness, grief and loss). Personal Financial Management - Provides counseling and education with budget and savings management. This can be done in a one-to-one financial counseling setting or in a class. In conjunction with the American Center for Credit Education, provides classes such as Credit when Credit is Due, Money In Motion, and Home Buying classes for financial education. Readiness program - Assists military members and their families to prepare and go through deployments, TDY's, and remote tours. The Readiness program offers assistance with pre-deployment counseling, preparing practical aspects of separations, providing support to families, and offering reunion support.

Psychiatric Services provide evaluations and medication management for youth and adolescents, working with therapy and case-management teams.

A non-profit, volunteer, peer support group. The SMART tools are backed by psychological principles including Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and positive psychology. Unlike some other recovery programs, SMART Recovery doesn't require a sponsor or a higher power and doesn't require the members to be in a lifelong program. The main focus of SMART meetings is how to abstain from harmful addictions or activities. This includes alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, or virtually any behavior people want to stop. SMART Recovery supports individuals who have chosen to abstain from any substance or activity or are considering abstinence. Abstinence is not required to attend this meeting but is the ultimate goal of the program. If you are intoxicated, you are welcome to listen, but not to share. Individuals can use whatever methods help them to stay sober. This includes harm reduction, medications or other methods. SMART supports the use of counseling or recovery coaching to supplement our recovery program, or use other methods to help us stay sober. Some of these include monitoring through breathalyzers, online tools, reading or attending other groups. Two topics that are not pushed are spirituality/religion, and addiction as a disease. These are personal topics but are not part of SMART Recovery. Meetings are available in face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats.

Works to increase identification of youth and families who have been exposed to traumatic stress and shorten the time it takes to get them into effective treatment programs. Offers connection, comfort, and hope to families who have experienced the unexpected loss of an infant. Provides care packages to those families and a network of connections to others who have experienced a similar loss. A Run for Their Lives! 5K run/walk event is held annually on Mother's Day. Participate in-person in Spearfish, SD, or virtually from anywhere! This event is a great way to honor the memory of a child with a community of supporters. Also works to provide SIDS and safe-sleep awareness and education as well as funding for SIDS-related research. Operations are home-based.

Monument Home+ Home Health and Hospice offers individual, couples, and family grief counseling to the immediate family members of the patients who were on Monument Health hospice services. Since people grieve differently, counseling is offered to meet the distinctive needs of different age groups and types of loss with counselors and professional social workers with specialized training and experience in grief and loss.

DCI/Downtown provides 24 hours a day / 7 days a week overnight residential services to stabilize people experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Services include crisis stabilization, evaluations and and linking individuals to the services that will allow success in the long-term. Up to four individuals at at time may stay up to three days. DCI/Downtown is designated as an Appropriate Regional Facility (ARF) by the South Dakota Division of Behavioral Health.
