Falls Community Health is a family practice medical clinic and dental clinic with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. The Community Health Center was established in 1979 with its goal being to remove the barriers, primarily financial, that exist and limit the access of lower income individuals or families seeking primary health care services.  ​Services for the general public include family health, lab radiology, well-child care, immunizations, family planning (including birth control, STD screening and treatment), patient education, and dental care. Mission is to provide a place of refuge for victims of human trafficking from all over South Dakota. Safety - Women have stable, safe housing and protection from traffickers. They become part of a healthy, safe community of support that provides compassionate assistance while they address pressing legal, medical and emotional needs. Services and Support - Women receive addiction counseling, job skills/GED classes, emergency counseling and transportation. Services wil also include a crisis hotline, clothing, food and hygiene items. Self Development - Women learn life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, understanding boundaries, understanding trafficking and trauma, and making safe choices to help them live independent lives. Cannot accept anyone who is still using drugs or alcohol. If the victim is still using substances/has addiction issues, they must attend treatment prior to receiving services.
