Crisis stabilization for adults, 18 years and older, who are experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. Program features include immediate counseling services, Medical triage screening, at intake to determine the needed level of care, Collaborative recovery oriented stabilization plan, Telephone crisis support and follow up, Opportunities to speak with a qualified mental health professional (QMHP), and Referrals to community agencies including detox, inpatient services, and community based counseling. This is a Voluntary program, CCC is not a locked facility. The length of stay is up to 24 hours. Limited transportation available to the Crisis Care Center via local law enforcement. Goals of the Crisis Care Center: Provide the community with crisis options other than inpatient psychiatric care, incarceration, and involuntary admission to detox services to match the level of need with the level of care. Improve access to after crisis follow-up and mental health and substance abuse treatment. Improve service integration and coordination amount agencies and providers to help individuals better navigate complex systems. Improve awareness about and access to services to assist people in entering the health care system for mental health and substance abuse services prior to entering a crisis state.

A team of first responders who work with law enforcement when there has been a death by suicide in Pennington County. The Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team is called to the scene to help survivors with the next steps and offer any extra support and resources to the surviving loved ones. The Loss Team follows families for up to a year after their loss with case management services.

Callers to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline are routed to the nearest accredited crisis center in the caller's area. The Lifeline's Crisis and Text/Chat Service routes visitors to a network of crisis centers accredited in providing online emotional support. The Helpline Center's Suicide and Crisis Support is an accredited suicide prevention, intervention and after-care organization, delivering the hope and understanding you need. Services include call, text, chat 988 to connect with a 988 Crisis Counselor, grief support for individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide, and professional suicide awareness and prevention training.

Group sessions are available at different times throughout the year. Some of the group sessions offered include: - Corrective Thinking: For youth ages 13 - 18 to help members identify: The five basic thinking errors and deterrents to thinking errors The four characteristics that are essential for change The impact of behaviors on family, friends, and the community - Couples Workshops: For couples who wish to enhance their relationship, whether or not they are having difficulties. Workshops offer: Skill and idea description and demonstration Opportunity for couples to practice skills privately Participants have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their experiences if they would like - Introduction to Mindfulness: What happens in your life depends on your mind - Social Skills Group: For 10-15 year olds struggling with social skills or fitting in. Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: For children ages 5 - 11 and their birth, foster, or adoptive parents. While the parents or parenting team is involved in education, supportive discussion and training, the children will gather in a separate group to work on developmental and behavioral issues. - Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Participants are taught to assess for risk of suicide or harm; listen non-judgmentally; give reassurance and information; encourage appropriate professional help; and encourage self-help and other support strategies. - Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Participants are taught to assess for risk of suicide or harm; listen non-judgmentally; give reassurance and information; encourage appropriate professional help; and encourage self-help and other support strategies. All within the context of helping the youth population.

Therapists, counselors, and case managers provide: - Individual and family counseling (e.g., marriage counseling, parenting skills, trauma informed services, EMDR, depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, coping skill development, etc) - Addiction and dependency services - Evaluations and assessments - Social learning programs - Systems of Care - Prevention services, providing presentations to student and adult groups on a large number of topics and consists of a library that contains over 1,000 items available for check out at the main Lemmon office Offering services via telehealth. Clinic provides primary care, mental health, home based primary care, and telehealth services. No emergency services are provided at the clinic. Specialty Services include: Audiology, Dermatology, Anticoagulation, and Home Based Primary Care Mental Health Services: individual, couples, and group psychotherapy Audiology Services: including hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and replacement, are provided on Tuesdays, Thursday afternoons and Friday afternoons at the CBOC. The following programs and specialty care are available by telehealth: Cardiology, Diabetes Management, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genomic Medicine, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurology, Nutrition, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Prosthetics, Pulmonary, and VIST (low Vision).
