Outpatient Services - Individual therapy (for mental health or substance use), Family therapy, Group therapy, Medication management, Psychological assessments and testing, Commitment evaluations, Nursing home consultations, and 24-hour a day crisis intervention via crisis line. Walk in assessments available during regular business hours at the Yankton and Vermillion locations.
CARE Club - Program for individuals with a mental health disability (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality) who live in the community. CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills.
Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Crisis stabilization for adults, 18 years and older, who are experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. Program features include immediate counseling services, Medical triage screening, at intake to determine the needed level of care, Collaborative recovery oriented stabilization plan, Telephone crisis support and follow up, Opportunities to speak with a qualified mental health professional (QMHP), and Referrals to community agencies including detox, inpatient services, and community based counseling.
This is a Voluntary program, CCC is not a locked facility. The length of stay is up to 24 hours. Limited transportation available to the Crisis Care Center via local law enforcement.
Goals of the Crisis Care Center:
Provide the community with crisis options other than inpatient psychiatric care, incarceration, and involuntary admission to detox services to match the level of need with the level of care.
Improve access to after crisis follow-up and mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Improve service integration and coordination amount agencies and providers to help individuals better navigate complex systems.
Improve awareness about and access to services to assist people in entering the health care system for mental health and substance abuse services prior to entering a crisis state.

A full continuum of mental health and treatment for substance use disorders. Services include assessments, individual and family counseling, intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment for pregnant and parenting women who face substance use disorders, transitional care and aftercare counseling for adults and adolescents, trauma-focused treatment for children/adolescents and their families impacted by traumatic events. This can address a multitude of circumstances including COVID-related trauma, physical/ /sexual/emotional abuse, witness of violence, household incarceration, family substance abuse, mental illness, parent separation or divorce, medical, grief or refugee trauma, and bullying, neglect, disasters and more. Also offers MRT (Moral Recognition Therapy), CBISA (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention Substance Abuse), and Telehealth services.
