Homeless Veterans or Veterans at-risk for homelessness have free, 24/7 access to trained responders. Callers will be connected with a homelessness specialist at the nearest VA facility. The Disaster Distress Helpline is a hotline dedicated to providing year-round disaster crisis counseling. This crisis support service is for anyone experiencing emotional distress related to disasters such as: tornados or severe storms, hurricanes and tropical storms, floods, wildfires, earthquakes, drought, incidents of mass violence, and anniversaries of triggered events.
