Bright Start is a community-based, voluntary program which implements the evidence based Nurse Family Partnership model to provide nurse home visitation services to families during pregnancy, after delivery and may continue until the child's second birthday. Services include prenatal, maternal and infant/child health assessments and education; and health, safety and nutrition education. Families are linked with resources such as prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric medical care, family planning services, mental health services, job training, literacy services, employment opportunities, housing, substance abuse treatment, early childhood assessment and intervention opportunities, and other community resources

Offers Medication for Addiction Treatment services for individuals with a history of opioid, stimulant, and alcohol use. ​Medication for Addiction Treatment is the use of FDA-approved medications in combination with counseling and other therapies to provide a whole-patient approach to treatment for substance use disorders (SUD).

The Beadle County Regional Correctional Center houses the Adult Jail and Juvenile Detention Center. Current programs available to inmates include Work and School Release, Mental Health assistance, Drug Counseling, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and religious services. Visitation services also available for the public.

Provides shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include immediate 24-hour shelter and crisis hotline, crisis intervention, Legal advocacy: assistance in obtaining domestic abuse and stalking protection orders, and courtroom advocacy, medical advocacy, referral services: assistance in accessing community resources, i.e., housing, employment, financial needs, public education and outreach, information packets, and limited financial assistance. All services are free and confidential. The Wholeness Center is a member program of the South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.

A 12-step program which provides support, understanding and encouragement to friends and relatives whose life has been affected by someone's alcoholism. This program is for people aged 11-18 years.

The Juvenile Diversion Program, which includes Teen Court and Truancy Court, is a collaboration between the Pennington County State's Attorney, the 7th Judicial Court, and local social service providers. It is offered as an alternative to court involvement for juvenile offenders ages 10-17. Teen Court is a volunteer youth program, and accepts volunteers 14-17 years old. Charges typically eligible for diversion include: Minor consumption/possession of alcohol Shoplifting Simple assault Disorderly conduct Disturbance in school Truancy Possession of tobacco, marijuana, or drug paraphernalia The following are some of the classes and other activities that may be required during the three-month program. Participants are responsible for all program costs. Scholarships may be available for families needing financial assistance.

• Property Offense and Stop and Think Classes, a two-hour class emphasizing choices and consequences.
• Community Service, juveniles work as volunteers in the community for a specific number of hours in either diversion-arranged projects or at other sites arranged by the family.
• M.A.D.D. Victim Impact Panel, juveniles attend a presentation by individuals whose lives have been affected by drinking and driving accidents.
• Tattoo Removal, juveniles wanting tattoos removed, can be referred to T.R.U.S.T. (Tattoo Removal Unified Support Team).

National hotline for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning community with concerns or questions on gender identity/expression and/or sexuality. Providing a free and confidential space to find support, factual information, and vital community connections.

Provides structured, trauma-informed youth mentorship, character development, life-skills education, and diversion support for young people affected by adversity, instability, trauma, or justice-system involvement. Services may include group programming, one-to-one mentoring, community activities, and lessons addressing accountability, resilience, communication, empathy, leadership, decision-making, and preparation for a healthy transition into adulthood.

Also offers a wide variety of support groups such as blended family dynamics, neurodivergent adults, perimenopause and midlife transitions, men's mental health, divorce and relationship transitions, codependency and boundary building, grief & loss support, and family & spouses of veterans.

Individual, couple and family counseling for issues related to trauma, abuse, relationships, unplanned pregnancy, adoption and parenting. Offers Telehealth counseling services for rural South Dakotans to have access to an outpatient therapist via smart phone, tablet or computer. Call to schedule a session via confidential/secure HIPAA compliant video technology. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - can provide trainings, classes/groups or counseling for employees. Youth prevention program focuses on issues of addiction, violence, promiscuity, and suicide. Other programs include: Lakota Circles of Hope, Disaster Relief and Uplifting Parents.

Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, marital therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness based, motivational interviewing, and solution focused brief counseling. Also sells OTC medications, vitamins & supplements, medical supplies, first aid, smoking cessations, and family planning products.

The IMPACT (Individualized and Mobile program of Assertive Community Treatment) program is designed for individuals with severe mental illness who are in need of intensive supports in the community. Services are highly mobile and delivered in the clinic, home or other community-based locations depending on need and consumer preference. Treatment is based on a comprehensive assessment and the patient is involved in each step of treatment planning. IMPACT services may include symptom monitoring, medication management, nursing care, individual or group counseling and education, direct assistance in obtaining basis necessities and other supports. Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team of professionals that include psychiatrists, psychologists, advanced practice nurses, mental health counselors, psychiatric social workers and case managers.
