Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. CWOY Support Navigators act as mentors, advocates, and resource guides for American Indian youth, adults, and families needing support for their healing and personal growth. Services offered include one-on-one mentorship, advocacy, individualized care planning, outings, activities and workshops, transportation to appointments, collaboration with behavioral health resources, coordination for success in academic programs, communication with family members, connecting participants to peer and community programs in support of healing goals, skill-building, mental health counseling, and therapeutic circles.

An intensive, outpatient, 12-step recovery-based center for alcohol and drugs. Services are provided by certified chemical dependency counselors including assessments (walk-in assessments available), day and evening treatment programs, adolescent programs, 12 hour DUI class, Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment (IMT) offered with state approval only, and a Recovery Maintenance Group. Jail Treatment Program - Alcohol and other drug abuse treatment services with an emphasis on criminal / addictive thinking and interactive journaling. The interactive journaling process encourages people to personalize the information they acquire and to take responsibility for their own recovery. Treatment is provided in the Minnehaha County Jail. Adolescent and Adult Outpatient Treatment Program - Consists of group therapy, alcohol and other drug information, skill development and relapse prevention. IMT (Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment) - consists of group therapy, individual therapy, case management, residential support and aftercare services. Intensity of services changes with the length of time spent in the program. Weekly participation ranges from 2-19 hours of service a week, depending on client needs.

Care provided by: 24 hour nursing staff, a full-time psychologist, 24 hour on-call doctor, Certified chemical dependency counselors, and ASAM certified Addictionologists. Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Need to be referred through VA; able to take VA funding. Active duty military and dependents may utilize TRICARE West Insurance.

The South Dakota Resource Hotline is part of South Dakota's Statewide targeted response to substance use. The hotline provides a place where individuals are able to reach out for information on treatment resources and support for themselves or someone else. The Substance Use Care Coordination program: Connects participants with substance use resources, such as treatment assessments, treatment programs, counseling and social supports. Provides consistent connections during high-risk times for returned use, which may include post detox and before and after treatment. Provides support working on reaching recovery goals. Assists with making connections with appropriate community referrals for financial assistance, transportation assistance and assessing mental health resources. Connects with referral locations to best understand wait-lists, common barriers to treatment completion and share needed information between referral sources.
