Provides level 3.1 low intensity residential treatment for adults who are living with behavioral health conditions limiting their stability in the community. The Arch provides recovery oriented programming that helps residents create client centered treatment plans to address their transition needs back into the community. Dakotah Pride Treatment Center - Outpatient Services | Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate - Human Services Department
Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center.
Pre-treatment Evaluations: Provides screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement. Walk-in Assessments for Substance Use available.
Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks.
Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria.
Prenatal Empowerment Program (PEP): Works primarily with pregnant women who are struggling with substance addiction. A case manager will do addiction assessments, assist with medical applications and applications for Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, coordinate transportation for clients to off-reservation treatment centers, and conduct outpatient group sessions utilizing the Matrix Model to promote healing.
Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.

The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP).
Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group.
Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.
