Counseling Services | Restored To New Life Services
An outpatient counseling center that specializes in mental health therapy, marriage and family therapy and substance abuse, gambling and pornography addiction, along with other compulsive behaviors. Services are offered in a safe, graced filled environment where an authentic connection with a therapist and client is formed. The philosophy of care is to meet clients where they are at, help them navigate through the difficulties of their life and empower them to see positive improvements in their life by offering clinically proven skills and tools that research has shown has helped many in our 20 years of practice.

Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

Dakotah Pride Treatment Center - Outpatient Services | Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate - Human Services Department
Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center.
Pre-treatment Evaluations: Provides screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement. Walk-in Assessments for Substance Use available.
Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks.
Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria.
Prenatal Empowerment Program (PEP): Works primarily with pregnant women who are struggling with substance addiction. A case manager will do addiction assessments, assist with medical applications and applications for Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, coordinate transportation for clients to off-reservation treatment centers, and conduct outpatient group sessions utilizing the Matrix Model to promote healing.
Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.
