Everyone will receive an assessment to determine whether or not MAT is appropriate/to help determine the most appropriate level of care. If MAT is determined to be an option, staff provide education about the different forms of MAT. Two forms of MAT are offered at LCBHS: Treatment with Buprenorphine Treatment with short- or long-acting Naltrexone A plan is developed with the patient's provider for the specific form of MAT treatment, level of care, and length of service based on your individual needs. Initial drug screening is required as are laboratory studies depending on history and type of MAT. Ongoing random drug testing is an integral part of treatment. Medically monitored withdrawal management is provided in a residential setting and is available if needed. There is not a set length of time for MAT. While many people may need to stay on medication indefinitely, others may choose to taper off or discontinue using MAT medications.

Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. The therapy process offers the ability to process situations that may be difficult while also giving clients the ability to learn new skills that improve their daily lives and relationships.
