Therefore, ALO uses a comprehensive approach for behavioral health programming, which is guided by traditional Lakota values (ie. waca'tognaka (generosity), woohitika (courage), wowaci'ta'ka (perseverance), waoholaka (respect), wau'sila (compassion), and woksape (wisdom).
