Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Need to be referred through VA; able to take VA funding. Active duty military and dependents may utilize TRICARE West Insurance.

Provides drug and alcohol treatment for adolescents ages 13 - 17 years of age who are enrolled as a member of a federally recognized Tribe or able to show the lineal descendancy. It is a rolling admission and can be anywhere from 90 - 120 days.

Residential substance use treatment for individuals suffering from illegal and prescription drug abuse as well as dependence on and addiction to alcohol. A 28-day intensive inpatient treatment program where individuals are emerged in 30 hours or more of programming each week. Clinically monitored inpatient withdrawal management (detoxification) program available if needed. Residential substance use treatment services are provided in the Benedictine Center on the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Campus.

Inpatient / residential drug and alcohol treatment program for women 18 and older who are pregnant, or have children. New Start teaches parenting and child care skills while providing help in education and other areas, such as employment skills, independent living, health and nutrition, addressing chemical dependency, mental health and legal problems.

A residential program for adult males 18 years and older who have struggled with drugs or criminal activity. The 16-month program consists of 5 phases of induction, training, and Re-Entry. The first 10 months include the 4 phases of induction and training. The 5th and final phase of Re-Entry is 6 months in length and consists of further discipleship and assistance in transitioning back into the real world.

Provides residential treatment, foster care, special education schooling and independent living services to South Dakota children between the ages of 7 and 23. This program serves male and female youth with a primary diagnosis of substance dependency disorder. Treatment philosophy recognizes substance dependency as a chronic and progressive illness. Treatment includes 12-step groups, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Narcotic Anonymous groups within a therapeutic milieu. Treatment is completed in approximately 45 days.

Therapeutic services for chemically dependent individuals who meet the criteria for admission. The program incorporates traditional American Indian teachings with 12-step concepts. The treatment philosophy is based on the Red Road, Medicine Wheel, and AA principles. The inpatient program provides 30 hours of educational and group therapy in addition to 12-step study and attendance groups. Clients are provided the opportunity to participate in an Inipi ceremony and/or attend church services.

A voluntary 28-day residential treatment center that uses a variety of evidence-based, individualized approaches to treat alcohol and drug addiction, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Offers medical stabilization and medication assisted treatment (MAT). All therapists are co-certified in addiction and mental health, and psychiatrists will regularly round at the center. Residential program offering 24-hour supervision, intensive 45-60 day program offering addiction recovery therapy. Seeks to meet each youth's educational, emotional, health, and family needs. Services offered include free assessments, mental health evaluation, treatment planning, group and individual therapy, aftercare planning, aftercare groups, 12-step groups, advocacy and referrals.

Based on the holistic approach of treatment utilizing the Twelve-Step Program of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous. The program is accredited by the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse and the Department of Health as a 32-bed inpatient alcohol/drug treatment facility. All referrals must be pre-arranged with the Division of Alcohol Abuse. Patients must be residents of the State of South Dakota, must be 18 years of age or older, must have a dependency diagnosis, and must be pre-approved by the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
