The South Dakota Treatment Hotline provides information on substance use treatment options available throughout the state. It includes listings of facilities offering detoxification, inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment services, along with resources for co-occuring mental health conditions. The program is intended to help individuals and families identify and compare treatment providers based on location, services offered, and level of care.

The Adolescent Addiction Recovery Unit provide inpatient and outpatient addiction recovery care for youth ages 12 to 17. Services include 24-Hour supervision, residential treatment, intensive counseling, and educational support.

The SEPRC works with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through program development and training. Offers a 12-hour diversion class for individuals aged 17 - 20 years, designed for individuals who may be making high-risk choices and aim to change drinking and drug use behaviors.

The WPRC seeks to divert or delay those we serve from substance use and other high-risk behaviors to promote choices/behaviors resulting in lifelong mind and body wellness. The WPRC primarily focuses prevention support services to stakeholders in South Dakota's 22 westernmost counties, but often serves an even broader audience. The WPRC's services include providing education, technical assistance, training and other support to prevention service providers, youth, parents, educators, community groups, social service providers, health/wellness agencies, chemical dependency service providers, law enforcement and other community wellness stakeholders. WPRC staff can provide community education and information on a broad range of prevention topics. Offers access to resources such as training, videos, curricula, and books on topics surrounding the issues of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and violence related issues. Training and resources are offered around mental health first aid and suicide prevention. Provides services to 21 counties in the N.E. region of South Dakota. Also, has opioid prevention resources such as DisposeRX packets, medication lock boxes, and Naloxboxes.

Horizon Health - Yankton Medical offers Medical care (behavioral health, geriatric, chronic care management, DOT physicals, physical exams, family medicine, maternal health, family planning, sexually-transmitted disease testing, nursing, health education, immunizations, preventative services, well child exams, acute care, immunizations, lab/x-ray, and women's health). Also offers Certified Application Counselors for the Health Insurance Marketplace. Horizon Health - Yankton Dental offers dental care services include cleanings, dental exams, bridges, crowns, dentures, digital x-rays, emergencies, extractions, fillings, mouth guards, partials, root canals, sealants and spacers.

Provides individual therapy and consultation/training services in the following areas - anxiety, behavioral concerns, depression, divorce, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting, school issues, play therapy, and workplace management. Primary emphasis is working with children, adolescents, and families. Also provides training and consulting with schools and communities.

Offers patient education in the community and in schools to raise awareness on how to lower one's risk for chronic health problems and infectious illnesses. Topics include cancer awareness and screenings, injury prevention, tobacco prevention and cessation, sexually transmitted disease prevention, behavioral health awareness and screenings, drug and alcohol abuse awareness, immunizations, heart health, diabetes awareness and prevention, nutrition, and physical activity. Provides health education through health fairs, conferences, newspaper articles, health brochures, public service announcements, radio, posters, small group sessions, lunch n' learns, Facebook, and one-on-one counseling.

Outpatient, voluntary walk-in center for youth in middle and high school who are in crisis or considering suicide. It provides Screenings / Assessments, Observation, De-escalation / Stabilization, and Referrals to appropriate services. The Adolescent Crisis Care Center provides immediate, short-term care for middle and high school youth who are experiencing a crisis or may be considering suicide. Services provided are mental health screenings/assessments, observation, de-escalation/stabilization, and referrals to appropriate services. Also has Community Health Workers that will provide case management services.

Providing a wide variety of services, which include, but are not limited to: mental health and substance abuse diagnostic assessments, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, co-occurring treatment, youth diversion services, parenting education and youth prevention activities.

Provides practical support, resources, education and understanding to people who are living and coping with mental health issues and their family members. Also works to increase public awareness and advocates for increased research and improved services for persons living with serious mental illness.
