Sanford Children's Parenting Services offers a variety of services and resources to get answers to everyday parenting questions. Services are geared toward enhancing the development, health, and safety of children in eastern South Dakota. Provides empowerment to families, caregivers, and people who directly impact the lives of children. Also provides parenting resources through New Baby in Home services, Getting to Know Baby Better resources, and parent navigation to support parents on the parenting journey.

Serving clients 12 years of age and older on the topics of abuse, attention deficit / hyperactive disorder (ADD/ADHD), adoption, alcohol abuse, Asperger's syndrome, autism, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, chronic impulsivity, codependency, coping skills, divorce, domestic abuse, domestic violence, dual diagnosis, eating disorders, family conflict, grief, infertility, infidelity, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), oppositional defiance (ODD), parenting, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum, self-esteem, self-harming, sexual addiction, insomnia, weight loss, and women's issues. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, marital therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness based, motivational interviewing, and solution focused brief counseling. Offers counseling the following: individual counseling, adolescent psychiatry, medication management, LGBTQ counseling, mental health screening, adult psychiatry, adolescent/youth counseling, gender identity counseling, and parent counseling.

CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Outpatient mental health counseling center providing 100% free services to eligible Veterans, active duty service members, and their families. Part of the US Department of Veterans Affairs but separate from the VA Medical Centers, with separate and confidential medical records. Offering individual, group, and couples counseling both in Rapid City and at a number of Community Access Points in the Black Hills. Also, a referral service and can point Veterans in the right direction for any information they may need in terms of accessing benefits, enrolling in VA health care, etc. Specialty is helping Veterans readjust successfully into civilian life, and provides counseling for a wide range of problems, from mental health issues like PTSD, depression, and anxiety to life stressor issues such as work-related or relationship difficulties. Provides free bereavement counseling for loved ones of service members who died while on active duty or Veterans who died by suicide.

Clinic provides primary care, mental health, home based primary care, and telehealth services. No emergency services are provided at the clinic. Mental Health Services include individual, couples, and group psychotherapy The following programs and specialty care are available by telehealth: Returning Service Member Care Management, PTSD Care, Primary Care, Blind and Low Vision Rehabilitation, Mental Health Care, Military Sexual Trauma Care, and Women Veteran Care.
