Provides one-on-one support for loved ones (friends and family) of those struggling with addiction. Loved ones can engage in coaching regardless of where the person in their life is on the addiction journey (actively using, in treatment, or anywhere in between). Coaching sessions focus on helping loved ones understand addiction, reduce conflict, improve communication, strengthen well-being, establish healthy boundaries and motivate others towards change.

Provides peer support and financial assistance to individuals and families who have lost a loved one to suicide. Examples consist of financial assistance for grief counseling, burial expenses, clean-up costs, legal fees, and other suicide-related expenses. The Program Coordinator supports clients with referrals and resources to additional financial assistance programs and/or therapeutic support if needed. Also provides peer and emotional support and resource referrals for a year. Peer support is provided through telehealth meetings and check-ins.

Helps families and their support systems find hope and healing after the loss of a child at any age. Provides encouragement, compassion and support through retreats, education and small groups. The groups provide a way to connect with other families who are walking a similar journey. Different from other retreats, Healing Hope hosts only 1 family at a time (in a guest house on on 5-acre property), creating a unique one-on-one experience. The facilitators walk alongside the families, not as counselors, but as peers that have been on a similar journey. Healing Hope also appreciates the opportunity to educate the community by sharing personal stories of grief and life lessons with different groups, churches, schools, etc.

Provides monthly collaborative meetings identifying resources and needs within the recovery communities. Variety of meetings available including: Systems of Native Community Health- Board Meeting; Medicine Wheel; Anpetu Waste Oyate Okolakiciye Prevention Coalition Family and Friends; and Wellbriety. Provides information and education regarding root causes, particularly unresolved trauma and grief and provides technical assistance and technical training to tribal, local, county, state, regional entities, and community profit and non-profit organizations and agencies.
