Individuals, couples, or families can receive specialized treatment for co-occurring issues of substance abuse/addictive disorders in conjunction with mental health conditions such as clinical depression, mood disorders and/or anxiety-based difficulties. Adult group programming for intensive outpatient treatment, early intervention, relapse prevention. Day and evening tracks are available for intensive outpatient treatment. Court-approved provider for chemical dependency assessments, counseling and treatment services. Adolescents can be seen for chemical dependency evaluations, individual therapy and aftercare group. ​Specialized counseling services available (individual, couples, family and group therapy) for pain management-related difficulties. Dual-credentialed therapists licensed in mental health and addictions. Telemedicine counseling services including CD assessments and individual therapy. Anyone can participate in this service. Accredited by the State of South Dakota as well as by the Joint Commission (JCAHO).

Hope Harbor is committed to restoring families through a loving, bible-based, Christ-centered family program. Client base includes: Teens ages 12-17 Females in the Marshall, MN location; males in the Parker, SD location Reside within a reasonable weekly driving distance of the location Mild to moderate emotional and/or behavioral problems No alcohol or drug dependency No active suicidal threats No history of sexual offense or perpetration Not currently pregnant Must commit to program duration of 12-15 months. Requirements are not limited to this list. Exceptions made on a case-by-case basis. Hope Harbor's small, family style program is an alternative option for families seeking help for their teen; providing counseling, education, life skills training, spiritual growth opportunities, and parenting classes. Program is Bible-based, Christ-centered, and interdenominational. Minnesota location is licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services and South Dakota home operates as a non-accredited private school that provides housing. Also provides individual and family biblical counseling, group teaching, instruction needed to continue academic training, life skills training, development of leisure skills, and opportunities for spiritual growth. Provides workshops for schools and communities dealing with the topic of relational aggression, cyberbullying, human trafficking, social media safety and more.

Provides individual, marital, and family counseling with a focus on addiction recovery (including evaluations), abuse, healthy relationships, unplanned pregnancy, adoption, and birth parents. Youth prevention program focuses on issues of addiction, violence, promiscuity, and suicide. Variety of educational workshops available. Offers free counseling services to ranchers and producers facing stressful times. Adoption services offers domestic and international adoption services, including, but not limited to: support for individuals coping with the many emotions and decisions that come from choosing adoption; providing birth parents have the opportunity to interview and select the adoptive family; working under the provisions of Baby Moses law; and providing home studies and training for potential foster parents/homes. Pregnancy Counseling supports mothers as they experience the many emotions and decision that come with facing an unplanned pregnancy and help find the options that will work the best. Assistance with medical costs associated with pregnancy may be available. Some infant items are also available (layettes, infant clothing, etc.). Licensed social workers are available to travel and meet mothers involved in a crisis situation. Crisis pregnancy meeting sites will be kept confidential and be convenient for the mother. Start Making It Livable for Everyone (SMILE) classes for separating and divorcing parents with children under the age of 18, designed to: inform parents how to better understand the effects of divorce; assist parents to understand the needs of their children; help parents learn what they can do to create a nurturing and safe environment so their children can recover and feel good about themselves; inform parents how to prevent destructive game playing that is common among divorce; help parents gain problem solving skills; and let parents know they are not alone. Other programs include: Lakota Circles of Hope, Disaster Relief, and Uplifting Parents.

Clients receive help with depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, adjustment issues, grief and loss, as well as other mental health issues. An adolescent outpatient, time-limited, intensive, and coordinated clinical treatment program with the goal of stabilization with the intention of averting inpatient hospitalization or reducing the length of a hospital stay. Partial Hospital Program (PHP): Serves as a positive alternative when individual counseling does not fully meet the needs of the individual and when inpatient care is not necessary. 5 days per week, 4 hours per day. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): The goal of program is to provide support while promoting independence, growth, individuality and self-reliance. Clients are assisted in learning new and more effective coping skills while remaining in their homes and their jobs. Generally 7 - 11 hours of structured programming per week consisting of counseling and education groups.
