The Counseling Center offers the following services (all services based on eligibility and priority needs): Substance abuse services include screening, intake, evaluation, referrals, aftercare, primary prevention programs, education, MRT/SBISA classes, and group counseling. ​Mental health services include couples therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, Education, Referrals, and Psychological evaluations and services.

Psychotherapy group meeting for adolescents age 13 - 18 (still in school), facilitated by a trained mental health professional. Group uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and coping skills to help adolescents develop strategies to manage daily stress and emotional and behavioral difficulties.

The Adolescent Crisis Care Center provides immediate, short-term care for middle and high school youth who are experiencing a crisis or may be considering suicide. Services provided are mental health screenings/assessments, observation, de-escalation/stabilization, and referrals to appropriate services. Also has Community Health Workers that will provide case management services.

Working with individuals ages 15 - adult, couples and families with a variety of challenges. Specialty training in family therapy, helping families dealing with challenging behaviors, and communication problems. Offers group therapy for parenting and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) trained.

Aims to assist clients in recovery maintenance. Recovery Support services includes formal aftercare programs, wellbriety, traditional pathways, and talking circles. Clients may have had their primary treatment experience within Anpetu Luta Otipi or they may arrive to the program in order to solely take advantage of formal and informal recovery support services. Recovery Support programs build on the progress achieved in primary treatment assisting the client to maintain a commitment to sobriety by encouraging a continuous self and environmental reflection. Recovery Support programs help the client continue to develop their problem solving skills and individual and family healing.

Hope Harbor is committed to restoring families through a loving, bible-based, Christ-centered family program. Client base includes: Teens ages 12-17 Females in the Marshall, MN location; males in the Parker, SD location Reside within a reasonable weekly driving distance of the location Mild to moderate emotional and/or behavioral problems No alcohol or drug dependency No active suicidal threats No history of sexual offense or perpetration Not currently pregnant Must commit to program duration of 12-15 months. Provides workshops for schools and communities dealing with the topic of relational aggression, cyberbullying, human trafficking, social media safety and more.

Residential program offering 24-hour supervision, intensive 45-60 day program offering addiction recovery therapy. Seeks to meet each youth's educational, emotional, health, and family needs. Services offered include free assessments, mental health evaluation, treatment planning, group and individual therapy, aftercare planning, aftercare groups, 12-step groups, advocacy and referrals.

Residential behavioral/group care program for abused and neglected youth offers youth 24-hour supervision. Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center. Pre-treatment Evaluations: Provides screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement. Walk-in Assessments for Substance Use available. Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks. Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria. Prenatal Empowerment Program (PEP): Works primarily with pregnant women who are struggling with substance addiction. A case manager will do addiction assessments, assist with medical applications and applications for Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, coordinate transportation for clients to off-reservation treatment centers, and conduct outpatient group sessions utilizing the Matrix Model to promote healing. Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.

Providing trauma-based counseling for adolescents 12 - 17 who have experience or are at risk for sexual exploitation or sex trafficking and parents, foster parents or caregivers of adolescent girls who have experienced or are at risk for sexual exploitation or sex trafficking using the following group coaching, counseling, advocacy and support services, safety planning, education and awareness, crisis response, skills classes, and recreational outings. All listed services are provided by pre-approval through referral form, according to available resources and as consistent with the mission statement.

Outpatient mental health counseling center providing 100% free services to eligible Veterans, active duty service members, and their families. Part of the US Department of Veterans Affairs but separate from the VA Medical Centers, with separate and confidential medical records. Offering individual, group, and couples counseling both in Rapid City and at a number of Community Access Points in the Black Hills. Also, a referral service and can point Veterans in the right direction for any information they may need in terms of accessing benefits, enrolling in VA health care, etc. Specialty is helping Veterans readjust successfully into civilian life, and provides counseling for a wide range of problems, from mental health issues like PTSD, depression, and anxiety to life stressor issues such as work-related or relationship difficulties. Provides free bereavement counseling for loved ones of service members who died while on active duty or Veterans who died by suicide.

Offers telehealth services. Family Pathways (Family Outreach Services) counselors providing intensive counseling and support services for children in community locations such as home or school. Psychiatric Services include assessments and medication management. CARE - Continuous Assistance, Rehabilitation, and Education services for adults with severe mental illness.

The Adolescent Addiction Recovery Unit provide inpatient and outpatient addiction recovery care for youth ages 12 to 17. Services include 24-Hour supervision, residential treatment, intensive counseling, and educational support.

Outpatient mental health services for older adults experiencing mental health challenges associated with aging. Patients develop coping and communication skills they need to live a happier and healthier life. Services offered include a confidential, comprehensive assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication education and management, and after-care planning. Also set aside time individual psychotherapy and check each participant's vitals. Telehealth is available for patients to participant via the internet.

Offers outpatient counseling services for individual, couple, and families. Staff members work with the client to provide services in the home, community, or office at the discretion of the client. Substance use evaluation, assessment, and treatment is also provided. Walk in assessments and telehealth services are available during normal business hours at the Aberdeen location. Psychiatric services are also available to those over the age of 18 including assessments and medication management.

Programs include moral reconation therapy class, continued care, and adolescent diversion classes. Also offers CBISA (Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse) and MRT treatment.
