Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: For children ages 5 - 11 and their birth, foster, or adoptive parents. While the parents or parenting team is involved in education, supportive discussion and training, the children will gather in a separate group to work on developmental and behavioral issues. - Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Participants are taught to assess for risk of suicide or harm; listen non-judgmentally; give reassurance and information; encourage appropriate professional help; and encourage self-help and other support strategies. - Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Requirements are not limited to this list. Exceptions made on a case-by-case basis. Hope Harbor's small, family style program is an alternative option for families seeking help for their teen; providing counseling, education, life skills training, spiritual growth opportunities, and parenting classes. Program is Bible-based, Christ-centered, and interdenominational. Specialty Services include: Audiology, Dermatology, Anticoagulation, and Home Based Primary Care Mental health Services: individual, couples, and group psychotherapy Telemental health available Audiology Services: including hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and replacement, are provided on Tuesdays, Thursday afternoons and Friday afternoons at the CBOC.
