The Systems of Care (SOC) program is a wraparound approach to delivering services to at-risk youth and families. This program is a free resource available to children under the age of 21 and their families and is meant to be a temporary service to help meet the needs of the child and family. Identified needs include but are not limited to basic needs, social supports, emotional needs, educational needs, community supports, housing supports, health, and safety. This program is meant to be temporary where services will conclude once all needs have been met. In instances where the child or a family member requires additional supports outside of what can be provided through this program, assistance will be provided in obtaining these additional services.

Services are individualized, trauma informed, holistic and strength based. Services are offered both face to face and via telehealth, which can be accessed with smart phone, tablet or computer. Treatment approaches include animal assisted therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), brainspotting , and Accelerate Resolution Therapy (ART) and others. ​Reiki is available to help resolve emotional and physical distress by allowing healing energy to flow freely throughout the body. Common issues and disorders addressed include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, chronic pain, addictions, trauma, body image and life changes.

Works to increase identification of youth and families who have been exposed to traumatic stress and shorten the time it takes to get them into effective treatment programs. Offers free screenings to children who may be experiencing traumatic stress, and then, if information warrants, a full assessment will be scheduled. Youth and families who are identified as experiencing traumatic stress will be referred to appropriate treatment providers. Treatments available at YFS include: - Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy - Child parent psychotherapy - Equine Therapy - Problematic sexual behavior-cognitive behavioral therapy - Prolonged exposure therapy - Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) - Integrative treatment for complex trauma - Motivational interviewing Also assists community mental health providers' expansion of trauma-focused knowledge and skills through education, training, and collaboration.
