Children's Connection | Family Connection

Children's Connection works with the Sioux Falls School District to provide group counseling services to children with an incarcerated loved one. Family Connection, through the Children's Connection program, is working to break the generational cycle of incarceration. The program involves group counseling and other appropriate services with an emphasis on providing support, education and other positive coping skills. The goal is to provide a safe place for children to talk and know they are not alone.

Counseling Services | Moore Counseling Group

Working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families wanting to overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, other mental illnesses, relationship issues, marriage counseling, grief, family issues/dynamics, women's issues, domestic violence concerns, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other life challenges. As well as life coaching and advocacy services. Specializes in providing counseling for clergy and families working in ministry, as well as helping professionals in the human services and medical field. Offers telehealth counseling through software called Google Meet to individuals in South Dakota. Preference is to do in-person intake, but can do intake online if in-person is not an option.

Prisoner Support Group - Activities are held for family support and monthly South Dakota Prison events. Youth Recreation - Swim passes and scholarships for camps, or other youth recreation activities. Available activity depends on site location. Children must be income eligible. VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Navigators - Available during tax season.

12-Step Support Group | Gam-Anon

A 12-step self-help support group for those affected by the compulsive gambling of a loved one. Local area meetings are attended only by those who have this problem. Gam-Anon honors the anonymity of members by not using last names, not speaking about our meetings, and not discussing those who are attending to anyone who is not attending. The International Service Office supports the individual Gam-Anon meetings all over the world. See website for a list of meetings. Local meetings may not always be available, but virtual meetings are an option.

Al-Anon Family Groups are for the families and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. Al-Anon electronic meetings use different online platforms: discussion boards, email, chat, phone and Voice over Internet Provider (VoIP), such as Skype. Recovery Support Services | Anpetu Luta Otipi

Aims to assist clients in recovery maintenance. Recovery Support services includes formal aftercare programs, wellbriety, traditional pathways, and talking circles. Clients may have had their primary treatment experience within Anpetu Luta Otipi or they may arrive to the program in order to solely take advantage of formal and informal recovery support services. Recovery Support programs build on the progress achieved in primary treatment assisting the client to maintain a commitment to sobriety by encouraging a continuous self and environmental reflection. Recovery Support programs help the client continue to develop their problem solving skills and individual and family healing.

Al-Anon Family Support Group Headquarters, Inc. | Al-Anon

Al-Anon Family Groups is a 12-step mutual support group program with member-facilitated meetings for anyone concerned about or affected by someone else's drinking. Although a separate entity, the program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous. There are no dues or fees for membership. No referral or appointment are necessary. The program is spiritually based rather than religious. All are welcome regardless of their beliefs or background.

Coaching sessions focus on helping loved ones understand addiction, reduce conflict, improve communication, strengthen well-being, establish healthy boundaries and motivate others towards change.
