Family and Friends Support Group | SMART Recovery South Dakota
A science-based, secular alternative to Al-Anon and Johnson Intervention. It uses methods based on the tools of SMART (Self Maintenance and Recovery Training) Recovery and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) to provide resources and support for those who are affected by the addictions of a loved one.

Support group of parents helping parents. Meets every week to offer education and support, at no cost, for parents who are dealing with a son or daughter battling addiction.

Services for Loved Ones (Family and Friends) | Face It TOGETHER, Inc
Provides one-on-one support for loved ones (friends and family) of those struggling with addiction. Loved ones can engage in coaching regardless of where the person in their life is on the addiction journey (actively using, in treatment, or anywhere in between). Coaching sessions focus on helping loved ones understand addiction, reduce conflict, improve communication, strengthen well-being, establish healthy boundaries and motivate others towards change.

Al-Anon Family Groups is a 12-step mutual support group program with member-facilitated meetings for anyone concerned about or affected by someone else's drinking. Although a separate entity, the program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous. There are no dues or fees for membership. No referral or appointment are necessary. The program is spiritually based rather than religious. All are welcome regardless of their beliefs or background.

Recovery Support Services | Anpetu Luta Otipi
Aims to assist clients in recovery maintenance. Recovery Support services includes formal aftercare programs, wellbriety, traditional pathways, and talking circles. Clients may have had their primary treatment experience within Anpetu Luta Otipi or they may arrive to the program in order to solely take advantage of formal and informal recovery support services. Recovery Support programs build on the progress achieved in primary treatment assisting the client to maintain a commitment to sobriety by encouraging a continuous self and environmental reflection. Recovery Support programs help the client continue to develop their problem solving skills and individual and family healing.
