A domestic violence shelter that offers 24-hour crisis line for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Other services include support groups, court advocacy, shelter for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking along with their children, crisis counseling, cape crisis services, protection orders, supervised visitation, neutral exchanges, food pantry, Common Sense Parenting and Birth to Three Responsive Parenting classes, and life skills training. Works with a local animal clinic to provide safe shelter for pets. Each case is addressed individually and based on whether or not the clinic is able to house the animal.

Groups include a men's Vietnam support group, women's support group, garden group, and Project Healing Waters group. Survivors of Incest Anonymous (SIA) is a 12-step, self-help program modeled after Alcoholics Anonymous for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Printed literature is available, quarterly bulletins which can be sent free automatically to an email address, speakers, and self-help support groups. Meetings are available online and via the phone, visit website for meeting times and connection information.

Offers services for victims of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, sex trafficking, and elder abuse including a 24-hour crisis line, advocacy, shelter, counseling and support groups, and counseling and services for incest survivors. ​Helps victims of human trafficking navigate their path to freedom. Provides direct supportive services to victims of all forms of human trafficking and to those who are being exploited and are at risk of being trafficked. Through the continuum of care; offers case management, emergency addition services, safe housing, occupational therapy, employment assistance, community education/prevention and supportive housing (Marissa's Project). Call to Freedom collaborates with a strong network of front line providers who offer safe housing, mental health counseling, medical assistance, chemical dependency, transportation, and other supportive services.

Services provided are Outreach Advocacy, 24-Hour Crisis Line, Women's Support Group, Women's Re-education, Men's Re-education, Emergency items, Respond to emergency 911 calls with public safety or at the hospital, and Protection Orders.

Provides the following mental health services: adult psychiatry, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), medication management, counseling (individual, family, couple, marriage, and play therapy for children), psychological testing, several support groups, and parenting classes.

A 24-hour crisis hotline and emergency shelter providing: assistance and or 'emergency temporary' shelter to victims of dating & domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault and stalking. Services offered include crisis intervention, 24 hour crisis hotline, assistance in obtaining and filing Protection and Stalking orders, assistance with rape response calls, referral services to other helping agencies in the community, Weekly Support Group, and Outreach and Education Prevention. Limited financial assistance available. All services are free and confidential.

White Buffalo Calf Woman Society provides emergency shelter and advocacy services to all victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and human trafficking.

Provides support for men who have endured abuse within their relationships. It is an 8-week group that provides support for male victims and survivors of domestic violence. The group includes educational information, as well as open discussion about personal experiences. Topics of discussion include: the dynamics of domestic violence, the cycle of abuse, overcoming gender roles and stereotypes, characteristics of healthy relationships, safe communication, building a support system, and healing from abuse. This is a closed group, registration is required by contacting the group facilitator. There is no cost to attend.

Assisting survivors of sexual, relational, and family trauma through the healing process, by serving survivors of all genders, beginning at age 3. Services include: individual or group therapy for children, teens, and adults, with a licensed therapist or graduate-level therapy intern under supervision of a licensed therapist (includes brainspotting) counseling services for caregivers of children or other secondary survivors of those affected by sexual, relational, and/or family trauma parent-child interaction therapy, a therapy for non-offending caregiver and child play therapy for children ages 3-12 who are primary or secondary survivors of sexual, relational, and family trauma crisis counseling - walk-in therapeutic support that provides stabilization through coping skills and resource identification

Behavioral Health Services available from licensed substance abuse and mental health counselors. ​Services include: chemical dependency assessments and Level 1.0 counseling, individual, couples, and family behavioral health counseling, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for patients recovering from substance use disorders, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy, and psychiatry team availability. Transportation is available for current patients if needed.

Provides support groups for survivors of domestic violence. ​Support groups include Hands are Not for Hitting and Pattern Changing Group. Hands are Not for Hitting is for children aged 6 - 12 years who have been victimized by domestic violence or sexual assault. The focus of the group is to help child victims of violence solve problems nonviolently and learn to identify and express their feelings in a healthy way. Children learn that the abuse is not their fault and they have their feelings validated. Pattern Changing Group is designed to help women who have been in abusive relationships gain confidence in themselves and learn to live healthy and abusive free lives. Child care is available for those attending group.

Providing the following services to those affected by domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and sexual assault: one-on-one support from an advocate, emergency shelter for people made homeless due to recent domestic violence, 24-hour crisis line where calls are 100% confidential and judgment free, advocacy support with Protection Orders, accommodations including housing, food, and personal supplies for victims of domestic and sexual violence, moral support, assistance with finding affordable housing, suitable employment, transportation, and applying for public assistance, accompaniment when seeking medical attention, legal, or court services, and creative conflict resolution techniques.

Crisis intervention, assessments, counseling, and case management services that help young people and their families overcome challenges and pave the way for an improved quality of life. Provides support to individuals suffering from mental health issues, alcohol and drug abuse, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and crime victimization. Support is also provided to individuals struggling with personality development and relationship issues. WAVI holds weekly In-shelter support groups for survivors of sexual assaults and domestic violence.

Provides 24-hour shelter for domestic violence / sexual assault victims and their children. The purpose of this agency is to provide a safe, warm environment for individuals and families whose lives are impacted by violence in the home. Services include 24-hour hotline that is answered by trained advocates, Weekly domestic violence support group, Weekly parenting class (Common Sense Parenting), Education for clients on choices, Assistance is provided in obtaining a new home if needed, Assistance with Protection Orders and going to court proceedings, and River City Family Visitation Center. Provides the following education and support services: Crisis Hot Line is a 24-hour service for anyone seeking help or information on domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault. Domestic violence and sexual assault survivor advocacy services. Trained advocates are available to provide non-judgmental support for survivors, assistance with protection orders, referrals for medical needs/mental health/and legal services, food, personal items, diapers, other immediate needs, referrals for employment and education, and transportation to flee the area or for employment and housing search. Support and resource information by trained advocates to provide referrals for medical counseling, social services, and legal services depending on the victims needs. ​Confidential adult and children support groups which meet weekly. Available to all victims/survivors of past or present domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Call for more information on available groups. Community education programs providing speakers, videos, and materials to the public to increase education and awareness on the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. A 27-week educational program for individuals who abuse their partners, Domestic Abuse Intervention Project (D.A.I.P.), is also available. Call for more information on community education programs.

A long-term (up to 24 months) shelter for victims of human trafficking. Victims must be willing to stay at least 6 months. Pathfinder Center is not an emergency short-term shelter. Mission is to provide a place of refuge for victims of human trafficking from all over South Dakota. Safety - Women have stable, safe housing and protection from traffickers. They become part of a healthy, safe community of support that provides compassionate assistance while they address pressing legal, medical and emotional needs. Services and Support - Women receive addiction counseling, job skills/GED classes, emergency counseling and transportation. Services wil also include a crisis hotline, clothing, food and hygiene items. Self Development - Women learn life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, understanding boundaries, understanding trafficking and trauma, and making safe choices to help them live independent lives. Cannot accept anyone who is still using drugs or alcohol. If the victim is still using substances/has addiction issues, they must attend treatment prior to receiving services.

Provides shelter for all suffering from domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and their families. In addition to shelter and food, services include: personal and rape advocacy, support groups, legal advocacy and referrals to other service agencies. The Women's Lodge can hold up to 18 adults and children before anyone has to sleep on the floor. Staff can also make arrangements if at full capacity or for other reasons if need be. Two-thirds of residents are usually children since most bring their children with them to protect them from the abuser's violence.

24-hour emergency shelter for women and children that provides crisis services for rape victims, child abuse victims and their non-offending family members, family members of homicide victims, adults molested as children, and victims of elder abuse. Services include accompany victims to hospital and through systems, transportation, advocacy, including criminal justice and court, emergency clothing and other supplies, assistance with protection orders, weekly women's support groups, crisis counseling, referrals and information, and assistance in filing for victim compensation.

Providing trauma-based counseling for adolescents 12 - 17 who have experience or are at risk for sexual exploitation or sex trafficking and parents, foster parents or caregivers of adolescent girls who have experienced or are at risk for sexual exploitation or sex trafficking using the following group coaching, counseling, advocacy and support services, safety planning, education and awareness, crisis response, skills classes, and recreational outings. All listed services are provided by pre-approval through referral form, according to available resources and as consistent with the mission statement.

Offers shelter and services for the victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault; with the goal to build self-esteem and confidence so they may live freely and independently as is their God-given right. Services include shelter, 24-hour hotline, food, transportation, counseling, assistance with housing search, assistance with job search, assistance with legal situations, and keeping all information confidential. ​Support group available for victims of abuse and sexual assault facilitated by a licensed counselor for those who have left the abuser, are still living with the abuser but need help to survive, and for those who need to know what to do next. Programs include Common Sense Parenting which is a step-by-step guide for raising responsible children and providing skills to help parents build strong, healthy families. Parenting classes can be arranged for non-English speaking people. Class times vary, call for information.
