These services include, but are not limited to individual and group counseling, couples counseling, crisis intervention, education and prevention services, case management, substance use assessments, and more. Topics may include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, identity concerns, eating disorders, alcohol and drug use, abuse and violence issues, and more.

Mission of South Dakota State University Student Health Clinic and Counseling Services is to promote the health and wellness of the university community, to enhance student retention and to support academic and personal success of all students. - Counseling Services Initial Screenings Available 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday (During Academic School Year) Closed on Holidays Counselors are also available after business hours for emergency or crisis intervention by calling University Police Department at 605-688-5117 - Student Health Clinic 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Tuesday - Friday (During academic school year) Closed on Holidays These services are only offered for currently enrolled SDSU students.

Dakota State University Student Counseling Center offers a variety of support services to students to assist students academically, socially and personally including academic counseling, personal counseling, substance use counseling, and alcohol, drug abuse and violence prevention and education. Office of Disability Services works to ensure the environment is physically and programmatically accessible. ADA Advisor works with students with disabilities to coordinate accommodations based on their individual needs.
