Provides the following education and support services: Crisis Hot Line is a 24-hour service for anyone seeking help or information on domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault. Domestic violence and sexual assault survivor advocacy services. Trained advocates are available to provide non-judgmental support for survivors, assistance with protection orders, referrals for medical needs/mental health/and legal services, food, personal items, diapers, other immediate needs, referrals for employment and education, and transportation to flee the area or for employment and housing search. Support and resource information by trained advocates to provide referrals for medical counseling, social services, and legal services depending on the victims needs. ​Confidential adult and children support groups which meet weekly. Available to all victims/survivors of past or present domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Call for more information on available groups. Community education programs providing speakers, videos, and materials to the public to increase education and awareness on the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. A 27-week educational program for individuals who abuse their partners, Domestic Abuse Intervention Project (D.A.I.P.), is also available. Call for more information on community education programs.

Dakota State University Student Counseling Center offers a variety of support services to students to assist students academically, socially and personally including academic counseling, personal counseling, substance use counseling, and alcohol, drug abuse and violence prevention and education. Office of Disability Services works to ensure the environment is physically and programmatically accessible. ADA Advisor works with students with disabilities to coordinate accommodations based on their individual needs.

White Buffalo Calf Woman Society provides emergency shelter and advocacy services to all victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and human trafficking.

Domestic Violence Shelters
Provides shelter for all suffering from domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and their families. In addition to shelter and food, services include: personal and rape advocacy, support groups, legal advocacy and referrals to other service agencies. The Women's Lodge can hold up to 18 adults and children before anyone has to sleep on the floor. Staff can also make arrangements if at full capacity or for other reasons if need be. Two-thirds of residents are usually children since most bring their children with them to protect them from the abuser's violence.
