Psychiatric Residential Treatment Center (PRTF) - Parkston serves female youth ages 12-17 who have experienced legal, school, or family behaviors. The program works with the youth to develop healthier attitudes and coping skills for the behaviors that caused the need(s) for treatment. The Parkston program also works with youth who have experienced chemical use and/or have had their lives impacted by other's chemical use. While using an individual approach, Our home, Inc. also emphasizes a modality that includes the utilization of a therapeutic group milieu, in which peers become an important part of each youth's daily program, by developing concepts that include; respect for self and others, development of healthy relationships, developing and meeting expectations, and responsibility to provide and promote a safe and secure environment

The South Dakota Resource Hotline is part of South Dakota's Statewide targeted response to substance use. The hotline provides a place where individuals are able to reach out for information on treatment resources and support for themselves or someone else. Provides consistent connections during high-risk times for returned use, which may include post detox and before and after treatment. Provides support working on reaching recovery goals. Assists with making connections with appropriate community referrals for financial assistance, transportation assistance and assessing mental health resources. Connects with referral locations to best understand wait-lists, common barriers to treatment completion and share needed information between referral sources. Behavioral Health Services available from licensed substance abuse and mental health counselors. ​Services include: chemical dependency assessments and Level 1.0 counseling, individual, couples, and family behavioral health counseling, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for patients recovering from substance use disorders, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy, and psychiatry team availability.
