Provides assistance with: - Clothing: Vouchers available by meeting with a case worker. - Utilities: Assistance available for water, lights, or electric heat. Available up to 1 time a year, must have a disconnection notice. Prescriptions: Call for information. Rent: Assistance is available once a year. First month rent or with eviction notice. Personal hygiene items and laundry detergent - Other needs: varies based on ability - Diapers: Available based on donations Spiritual support School supplies: Applications open Monday, July 8 - Friday, July 12, 2024. Distribution day is Saturday, August 10, 2024. To get an application, go to SA office. People on SNAP automatically qualify. People who qualify receive a card that they need to bring that to the distribution date. Students are also given a brand new pair of shoes.

Guides soldiers and their families to the help they need through a one-stop call center for veterans. The Sea of Goodwill is one place that will have a list of all the various official and unofficial support services available to help veterans. This program helps veterans find assistance in the areas of; employment, housing, financial assistance, and mental and physical health needs. Available 24 hours per day, the Watertown Police Department 911 Center serves as the call center for the Sea of Goodwill.

Provides limited emergency financial assistance as a last resort for those considered indigent and are residents of Brookings County. The office may help with rent, utilities, prescriptions, emergency medical expenses, county burials and funerals, eye care referrals, and admittance fees for voluntary mental, alcohol, or drug treatment to the Human Services Center in Yankton, SD.
