Also, shares year-round prescription drug take-back site with City of Yankton Police Department. The County Sheriff is the contact for mental health holds, county jail information, and fingerprinting (call for specifics).

Oncology Outpatient Therapist - offer counseling for people with cancer at any stage of treatment or recovery. Addressing issues of adjustment to illness, fear of reoccurrence, cancer induced distress, anxiety, depression, life legacy, advance care planning, grief, and bereavement. Also available to see any family or support members of the individual for counseling. ​​Telehealth available for any individual with cancer or their support person. May be in active treatment or out of treatment.

Programs include the following: Energy Conservation - South Dakota Building Science Training Center provides energy conservation information to the community. Information & Referral - Available to help point people to programs who could help (i.e.. CHIP, TANF, etc.). Low Income Organizing - Community Action Teams are volunteers organizing people to help themselves and others in the community. Prisoner Support Group - Activities are held for family support and monthly South Dakota Prison events. Youth Recreation - Swim passes and scholarships for camps, or other youth recreation activities. Available activity depends on site location. Children must be income eligible.

A 12-step self-help support group for those affected by the compulsive gambling of a loved one. Local area meetings are attended only by those who have this problem. Gam-Anon honors the anonymity of members by not using last names, not speaking about our meetings, and not discussing those who are attending to anyone who is not attending. Local meetings may not always be available, but virtual meetings are an option.

Connecting individuals to Community Health Workers to provide personalized wrap-around support, including health, housing, employment support, transportation, meal planning and referrals to other services. This program is designed for those who are facing barriers to stability, especially Medicaid patients, people coping with physical or mental health issues or those experiencing repeated hardships or homelessness.

In-person and telephone crisis support for youth and adults experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis with short-term stabilization services for up to 5 days; voluntary and involuntary patients accepted. There is no fee for services. Individuals in need of transportation to the facility may contact the facility or law enforcement to assist with transportation. Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services is an Appropriate Regional Facility for the State of South Dakota offering safe, supportive services for individuals experiencing mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm.
