DCI/Downtown provides 24 hours a day / 7 days a week overnight residential services to stabilize people experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Services include crisis stabilization, evaluations and and linking individuals to the services that will allow success in the long-term. Up to four individuals at at time may stay up to three days. There is no fee for services. Individuals in need of transportation to the facility may contact the facility or law enforcement to assist with transportation. DCI/Downtown is an Appropriate Regional Facility for the State of South Dakota offering safe, supportive services for individuals experiencing mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm.
