The South Dakota Treatment Hotline provides information on substance use treatment options available throughout the state. It includes listings of facilities offering detoxification, inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment services, along with resources for co-occuring mental health conditions. The program is intended to help individuals and families identify and compare treatment providers based on location, services offered, and level of care.

Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA) is a 12-step program to help people recover from being raised in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional home. Meeting formats include: in person, telephone, audio, and online. Visit national website for updated information.

Services of the Madison Police Department include national prescription drug take back day, held twice a year. Unwanted medications may be dropped off at the police department throughout the year, call for more information, National Night Out and DARE program.

The Union County Sheriff's Department protects the rights of the citizens within its jurisdiction to be free from criminal attacks, to be secure in their possessions and to live in peace. Services include year-round prescription drug take-back site, mental health holds, county jail information, burning bans, and fingerprinting (call for specifics).

Addiction services consist of: chemical dependency evaluations, intensive adult outpatient chemical dependency treatment, adult chemical dependent aftercare support groups, DUI classes, gambling treatment, prevention programs, Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse (CBISA), tele-med services

Individual and couples mental health and chemical dependency counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues including, but not limited to; depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), physical and or sexual abuse, trauma, chemical dependency and other addictions, co-occurring disorders, family issues, behavioral issues, relationship issues, sexual identity, adjustment disorders, career issues, adoption issues, attachment issues, personality disorders, stress management, women's issues, eating disorders, post traumatic stress (PTSD), and crisis prevention. ​Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services of medical and psychiatric natures to persons with physical conditions requiring nursing home care and psychiatric conditions requiring in-patient hospitalization. Services are delivered in such a way as to allow the patients maximum opportunity to function as independently as possible in activities of daily living. The goal is for the patients to reside in the least restrictive environment, including return to an appropriate community setting. This program operates with 3 units located in Spruce Terrace and Willow Terrace I buildings.

Provides individual counseling services working with clients ages 14 and up with autism spectrum, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attachment disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss. Services include individual counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adolescent/youth counseling, parent counseling, and internet (tele-health) counseling.

The Care Center is the hub of many resources at the Center of Hope. Services provided include computers and phone/fax - Guests can use, at no charge, for resume and employment/job searching; and Pastoral Care - Individuals can receive one on one counseling with the pastoral team, including getting connected with the Earn-Your-Way program. Trained in systems therapy.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Oncology Outpatient Therapist - offer counseling for people with cancer at any stage of treatment or recovery. Addressing issues of adjustment to illness, fear of reoccurrence, cancer induced distress, anxiety, depression, life legacy, advance care planning, grief, and bereavement. Also available to see any family or support members of the individual for counseling. ​​Telehealth available for any individual with cancer or their support person. May be in active treatment or out of treatment.

Screening, assessments, crisis intervention, and individual and group counseling for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Offers moral recognition therapy class, DUI Classes, Continuing Care and adult diversion classes. A Family Program is available to family members and friends affected by the substance use of another. Compass Point also offers CBISA (Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse) and MRT treatment. Offering telehealth services. Walk-in assessments available during normal business hours.

​ Sponsored by The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine medical students under the supervision of internal medicine physicians, provide health care with the goal is to provide health care to uninsured patients over the age of 18 while providing a learning opportunity for medical students. Offers care of any acute medical problems and also offers STD testing and free flu shots. Psychiatry services also available during two appointment times (5:30pm and 6:30pm). The first clinic of each month will be for seeing new patients at these appointments while the second clinic will be for follow-up and seeing established patients. This clinic also offers prescription assistance.
