Provides families with safe and affordable supervised visitations, supervised exchanges, and transportation of children in foster care. During a supervised visitation parents/guardians are monitored while they visit with their children to ensure that the children are safe and the parent/guardian has appropriate behavior. These visits are documented and video recorded. A supervised exchange is a monitored exchange of the child from one parent to another parent. This is to ensure that the parents don't have contact with one another. Transportation of children in foster care to and from visits is also available to foster parents who are unable to transport.

Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC) is the combined use of horses, a licensed therapist, and a horse specialist working with clients to address various individual treatment goals. EAC is safe and all activities are done from the ground. No riding is involved.

A 24-hour crisis hotline and emergency shelter providing: assistance and or 'emergency temporary' shelter to victims of dating & domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault and stalking. Services offered include crisis intervention, 24 hour crisis hotline, assistance in obtaining and filing Protection and Stalking orders, assistance with rape response calls, referral services to other helping agencies in the community, Weekly Support Group, and Outreach and Education Prevention. The Sanborn County Sheriff's Office protects the rights of the citizens within its jurisdiction to be free from criminal attacks, to be secure in their possessions and to live in peace. The department is a year-round prescription drug take-back site. The County Sheriff is also the contact mental health holds, burning bans, county jails/correctional facilities and fingerprinting (call for specifics).

Co-occurring services throughout all programming are available to address not only substance use but also mental health symptoms: Treatment Needs Assessment for Substance Abuse - Offers alcohol and drug assessments to determine level of care needed. Jail Treatment Program - Alcohol and other drug abuse treatment services with an emphasis on criminal / addictive thinking and interactive journaling. The interactive journaling process encourages people to personalize the information they acquire and to take responsibility for their own recovery. Treatment is provided in the Minnehaha County Jail. Adolescent and Adult Outpatient Treatment Program - Consists of group therapy, alcohol and other drug information, skill development and relapse prevention. IMT (Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment) - consists of group therapy, individual therapy, case management, residential support and aftercare services. Intensity of services changes with the length of time spent in the program. Weekly participation ranges from 2-19 hours of service a week, depending on client needs.
