• Introduction to Mindfulness: What happens in your life depends on your mind
• Social Skills Group: For 10-15 year olds struggling with social skills or fitting in.

Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: For children ages 5 - 11 and their birth, foster, or adoptive parents. While the parents or parenting team is involved in education, supportive discussion and training, the children will gather in a separate group to work on developmental and behavioral issues.

• Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Participants are taught to assess for risk of suicide or harm; listen non-judgmentally; give reassurance and information; encourage appropriate professional help; and encourage self-help and other support strategies.

The Huron Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) serves male adolescents ages 10-17. The program focuses on helping them develop healthier attitudes, stronger coping skills and positive strategies to address the concerns that led to treatment. Care is guided by the Together Facing the Challenge (TFTC) evidence-based treatment model. It emphasizes relationship-building, skill development, and strength-based approaches. A multidisciplinary treatment team works closely with each youth and his family to design an individualized treatment plan focused on specific needs and goals, with progress reviewed regularly. Weekly programming includes anger management groups, strategies groups, independent living skills training, drug and alcohol education, group therapy and individualized assignments. Individual therapy and family therapy may be offered on an individualized basis according to the treatment team's recommendations. The program also emphasizes the role of therapeutic groups. This environment helps youth learn and practice respect for self and others, develop healthy relationships, set and meet expectations, and take responsibility for creating a safe and supportive community.

Also serves as a medication disposal site, with drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. CVSO's are trained to provide information on the following topics: Transportation assistance to VA Appointments, Offers complete claims service and explanation of VA procedures, Provides follow-up service once a decision has been made, GI loans, Compensation and pension, Survivors benefits, Education benefits, On-the-job and apprenticeship training, State benefits, Social Security benefits, Employment and unemployment, Small business development information, Corrections of military records, Review of discharges, Medical and dental treatment, Hospitalization or outpatient treatment, Nursing home care, Residency at the State Veterans' Home, Rehabilitation, Information and payment assistance for alcoholism and drug dependency treatment, Burial benefits, Obtaining flags, and Information on community programs. Veterans are encouraged to register their discharge information (DD Form 214, Report of Separation) with the County Registrar of Deeds Office.

Urgent care offering services to the public such as allergy symptoms, bug bites, headache and migraines, common infections, foreign object removal, cold and flu symptoms, sexual transmitted infections (STI), lab testing, and DOT, drug screening and worker's comp.

Family Visitation Center (FVC) is available to parents and their children as a resource for families seeking a wide range of services in the process of custody and visitation litigation. The safety and comfort of the child is of utmost importance. Services include supervised visitation, supervised phone calls, safe exchanges, common sense parenting classes, and responsive parenting classes.

Programs and services include a domestic violence shelter, a community crisis line with a toll free number, crisis intervention, and telephone or face-to-face crisis counseling and advocacy. Victim services include: criminal and support services, transportation, emergency financial assistance, referrals and assistance with housing/social services/legal services/other community resources, legal advocacy, and counseling referrals. Community education is available to schools, civic groups, or interested community members on topics of preventing domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault.

Suicide Prevention Specialist programming to assist with prevention activities.
